Tonight on the Military Channel, stories of the dogs that helped to win a war will be featured.  This is the story of U.S. Marine war dog platoons who fought in World War II. It's an insider's look of how the canine combatants showed devotion, bravery and sacrifice, and it follows the men and their dogs through training and into combat, from the invasion of Guam to operations on Saipan, Okinawa and Iwo Jima.  The show will re-air a few times, but tonight is the debut showing.
