Each year, judges gather to find and crown the World's Ugliest Dog.  This year, the actor who played Timmy on the old Lassie tv show was one of the judges.  Jon Provost, along with Animal Planet's Karen "Doc" Halligan and Petaluma, CA fair board member Brian Sobel were the three people empowered with this awesome responsibility.  The competition was intense, with the breed which has dominated this contest well-represented, but in the end, it wasn't a Chinese Crested that took the Ugly-honors, it was a pound-puppy named Pabst.  His owner says he's a Boxer-mix with a bitter-beer face, hence the name.  Some of the top contenders are featured in this video - watch, and then you decide.
