Regular readers know that each Saturday, this column features an event list. If it has to do with dogs, you're most likely to find it here each Saturday.
A couple of Saturdays ago, an event put on by Mostly Mutts was featured, but there was a surprise at the event: Mostly Mutts is raffling off a truck!
Now, in keeping with their "recycled pets" mission, MM isn't raffling off a brand new truck. They're re-homing a one-owner 1987 Ford F150 with about 68,000 original miles on it. It has a clean CarFax report which is part of the prize, and the drawing is on April 4, meaning you have less than a month to get in on the truck-winning fun.
Mostly Mutts hosts adoptions each Saturday at the Petsmart off Barrett Parkway. That's where you can find volunteers who have more information about the truck, and who can help you with tickets. Not in the Kennesaw area? Not a problem - contact Mostly Mutts Fundraising Chairman Cheryl Bonno at 678-313-4793 or by email.
Each $50 donation gets you a ticket, or a $100 donation gets you three tickets. And no matter who wins the truck, the dogs helped by Mostly Mutts win the most!
As part of their educational mission, Mostly Mutts produces public service videos. Before you watch this one, get your tissues...if you have a heart, you'll probably cry.
