The school choice emotional roller coaster is back on top.
Just moments ago CATO at Liberty reported:
Through his press secretary Robert Gibbs, president Obama has declared that he will reverse congressional Democrats’ phase-out of the DC Opportunity Scholarships program.
The report also points out that president Obama isn't necessarily going out of his way to strengthen the program, but the fact remains that president Obama is the first Dem president to support vouchers.
What does this mean for Colorado?
We don't know yet. But the CATO report has this really great ending:
The last Democrats to be found jamming their fingers into the dike, hoping to stop the flight to educational freedom, will find their political careers swept away when that dike finally crumbles
I don't think any non-school choice supporter is immune to that risk regardless of political affiliation.
