The Examiner National Charter Schools Directory is a collaborative resource developed by more than 50 local and national Examiners. It is designed to help families easily find charter schools in their areas and provide an on-line index of websites for readers interested in the topic.
Charter schools are innovative and tuition free public schools that serve K-12 students.
The United States of America has more than 4,600 charter schools in 40 states and the district of Columbia.
As we often tell our kids, each of them is unique. So is each of our country's charter schools. These public schools are designed to be different than traditional public schools and chartered with specific missions.
