MSN Encarta has come out with a top 10 list of the grossest things in your home.

While a few items on the list are among the expected, such as your husband’s toothbrush, the trash pail and the toilet. There are other items that are surprising to find on the list. Who would have thought that books are on the gross list? Booklice which is an egg laying, paper-munching, fast-multiplying insect are the cause of paper products being on the list for germaphobes.
But before you think twice about going to the library, or that second-hand bookshop, please consider that books are last on the list, and number one is far more disgusting—YOU!
Here are the main reasons for the conclusion:
Your body is home to a wide array of microbes, from bacteria and viruses to (perhaps even) bugs and parasites. There are 10 times as many bacterial cells as human cells in the ecosystem that is your body -- and as many as 182 different species of bacteria live on your skin alone. Yep, if you're looking for the biggest source of grossness in your home, you need look no further than your own fingers, feet and belly button, not to mention those disease-carrying mucous membranes
Although there is no scientific proof and MSN Encarta does not mention this, I am convinced that if you don’t like charter schools, you are slightly grosser than the rest of us. No offense.
