The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools added three dames to the movement's Hall of Fame during the 2009 National Charter Schools Conference in Washington DC. Don Shalvey, CEO and founder of ASPIRE Public Schools was included on this short and prestigious list.

Mr. Shalvey is credited with being first in designing a chain of charter schools, hence replicating a successful plan and extending availability to thousands of additional children.

The video above (courtesy www.publiccharters.org) depicts Don Shalvey's philosophy.

Thank you, Don Shalvey for your dedication and commitment to our children, and congratulations!
