Yes, Patagonia is making wetsuits. In fact they have been making them for about three years now.  They are known to keep your warmer, last longer as well as environmentally conscious.

Patagonia is using the highest quality Japanese neoprene. It has a 98% closed-cell ratio, which adds dead air space and with it, warmth.

Our patented fabric construction incorporates a suit lining that blends merino wool with recycled polyester to trap more insulative dead-air space and quickly wick moisture away from your skin.

These wetsuits don't have the surf industry standard names such as a 3-2 or 4-3 for thickness. Rather these suits are named the R2 for water ranging from 55 to 65 degrees, R3s will keep you surfing when water temps range between 48 and 55 degrees and the new R4 allows uninhibited surfing in frigid water ranging from 38 to 48 degrees.

Patagonia even has great tops and spring suits too.

We use chlorine-free wool, recycled polyester, PVC-free kneepads and thinner neoprene layers (without sacrificing warmth retention) to reduce our impact on the environment.
