Lightweight Contest: Andre Winner (10-3-1) vs. Rolando Delgado (8-4-1)
Andre Winner made it to the finals of TUF and lost a unanimous decision to fellow countryman Ross Pearson. He will face season 8 of TUF cast member Rolando Delgado won was eliminated from the show in his first match against George Roop. Since then Delgado was successful in choking out John Polakowski, but lost a decision in his last contest against Paul Kelly. It would be in Winner’s best interest to keep this fight standing to avoid Delgado’s jiu-jitsu. Winner’s speed may prove to be too much for Delgado in this one.

Prediction: Winner via unanimous decision

Light Heavyweight Contest: Alexander Gustafsson (8-0-0) vs. Jared Hamman (11-1-0)
Alexander Gustafsson the heavy handed fighter from Sweden nicknamed “The Mauler” and rightly so this man is extremely aggressive in his standup. Gustafsson holds a perfect 8-0 record and looks to improve on this in his UFC debut. The man who stands in his way also making his UFC debut is Jared Hamman, who looks to put a blemish on Gustafsson’s record and be the first one to knock him out at the same time. Both men are heavy handed, so this should be an exciting stand up battle ending in a knockout. Hamman has been knocked out before by a flying knee in his only loss to Poai Suganuma.

Prediction: Gustafsson via TKO

Lightweight Contest: Paul Kelly (10-1-0) vs. Dennis Siver (14-6-0)
England’s own Paul Kelly looks to continue his winning ways in the lightweight division as he takes on Dennis Siver. Kelly’s only loss in MMA came to Marcus Davis in the welterweight division. Both fighters are riding on two wins; Kelly’s overall toughness could prove to be the deciding factor in this contest.

Prediction: Kelly via TKO

.....................................

Welterweight Contest: Nick Osipczak (4-1-0) vs. Matthew Riddle (3-0-0)
Another battle between TUF cast members, Osipczak was a member of season 9 made it all the way to the semi finals where he lost a unanimous decision to DaMarques Johnson. He will be facing season 7 cast member Matthew Riddle. With both men very early into their MMA careers this one will be tough to call, Riddle extremely good wrestling, but Osipczak has shown to have good submission skills.

Prediction: Osipczak via submission

.....................................

Lightweight Contest: Terry Etim (13-2-0) vs. Shannon Gugerty (12-3-0)
This may be one of the better fights on the undercard; Etim is currently riding a three fight win streak one of which is over Sam Stout. His opponent Gugerty has an exceptional ground game, 9 of his 12 victories have come via submission. Etim has yet to be submitted in his MMA career, so this should prove to be a challenge for Gugerty.

Prediction: Etim via unanimous decision

.....................................

Welterweight Contest: Paul Taylor (10-4-1, 1 NC) vs. John Hathaway (12-0-0)
English fighter Paul Taylor holds a 3-3 record inside the octagon and looks to make his country proud Saturday. This will be no easy task as he faces the undefeated John Hathaway. Taylor has incredible endurance, if he’s able to get into the late rounds he may have a chance in edging out a decision against Hathaway, but he the well rounded Hathaway may prove to be too much.

Prediction: Hathaway via submission.

.....................................

Lightweight Contest: Ross Pearson (11-3-0) vs. Aaron Riley (28-11-1)
TUF 9 lightweight winner Ross Pearson looks to test his skills against the experienced Aaron Riley. Riley won a unanimous decision in his rematch with Shane Nelson at UFC 101. The younger Pearson may be able to overwhelm Riley with his standup, as Riley has been KO’d a few times in the past.

Prediction: Pearson via TKO

.....................................

Welterweight Contest: James Wilks (7-2-0) vs. Matt Brown (12-7-0)
This contest features the welterweight winner of TUF 9 James Wilks taking on season 7 cast member Matt Brown. Stylistically on paper this is a bad matchup for Matt Brown, five of Brown’s 7 losses have come via submission, and the majority of Wilks victories were from the same. Matt Brown is an extremely tough fighter, but the speed and submissions of Wilks may prove to be too much.

Prediction: Wilks via submission

.....................................

Middleweight Contest: Michael Bisping (18-2-0) vs. Dennis Kang (32-11-1)
Michael Bisping is looking to rebound from the vicious knockout he suffered at the hands of Dan Henderson. He will be facing Dennis Kang the seasoned veteran of the sport. This could be a dangerous first match for Bisping, but odds are he’s going to come into this match extremely prepared to avoid the hands of Kang.

Prediction: Bisping via unanimous decision

.....................................

Welterweight Contest: Mike Swick (14-2-0) vs. Dan Hardy (22-6-0, 1 NC)
The winner of this contest will be crowned number one contender for Georges St. Pierre’s welterweight title. Mike Swick has won four straight fights since moving down to the welterweight division. The never outspoken Dan Hardy on the other hand is riding a six fight win streak, his last three in the UFC. This is a great matchup of striking and speed, a definite candidate for match of the night.

Prediction: Dan Hardy via TKO

.....................................

Light Heavyweight Contest: Randy Couture (16-10-0) vs. Brandon Vera (11-3-0)
This will be Couture’s first match in the light heavyweight division since his loss to Chuck Liddell in early 2006. Originally this one was shaping up to be somewhat of a number one contenders match. This was never official, but if Couture were to pull off a victory in any fashion he would most likely be granted a shot at Machida, Vera on the other hand would probably have to win in impressive fashion, in other words he’d have to knockout Couture to earn a shot. With the controversy of the Machida and Rua fight that may push this back, but don’t be surprised if it happens. Couture has lost his last two matches since returning to the UFC, Vera on the other hand is riding a two fight win streak. Couture always comes into a fight with a great game plan, but do not count Vera out in this one, Couture’s chin isn’t what it used to be.

Prediction: Couture via decision
