The September 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine featured a Fun Fearless Fashion column.
The topic of the column? Trends guys find sexy.
Some of the trends guys gave the thumbs up on were not unexpected.
According to Cosmo 48% of the 100 men polled like caged heels because “they are scary” looking but give men “naughty ideas.”
57% reported that plaid shirts were “Hot!” because it reminded them of what their shirts would “look like on her.”
A whooping 61% loved the ripped jean trend because they give guys a “peek at a girl’s wild side.”
Even more shocking, 62% of the men found headbands sexy because “headbands seem innocent in that sexy-secretary way.” Although it seems unlikely that most men would even notice headbands, apparently that’s not the case.
Which type of headbands are the sexiest? Although no particular type was mentioned in Cosmopolitan Magazine, a model was shown wearing two individual skinny lush black headbands placed horizontally (spaced approximately 6 inches apart) across the crown of her beautifully coiffed blonde highlighted updo twist.
One of the advantages to the current hot headband trend is that they are available in every size, shape, color and width (super skinny to uber wide). They can be worn as a single band or spaced as a configuration of two, three or more spaced across the crown.
Headbands are available in every imaginable price range from $4 to $400 depending on what your budget allows and the type of hair event you are selecting a headband for.
HairBoutique.com currently carries thousands of headbands from the budget priced Karina, Camila of Paris and Smoothies Collections to the higher priced couture lines from Tarina Tarantino, Jennifer Behr, Cara, Santi, Tai, EVITA PERONI and similar.
