A poll recently surfaced on the social networking site, Facebook. The poll, which was created by a Facebook user and not the networking site itself, asked, "Should Obama be Killed?" At least 731 people responded. The poll was taken down, but a screen shot can be seen here.
When asked to comment, Barry Schnitt, Director for Policy Communications for Facebook, said, "The third-party application that enabled an individual user to create the offensive poll was brought to our attention this morning. It was immediately suspended while the inappropriate content could be removed by the developer and until such time as the developer institutes better procedures to monitor their user-generated content.

Less than two weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi warned that the growing vitriol against the administration and all things Government could lead to violence.
The conservative response to Pelosi's concerns have been to deny and to dismiss, instead of acknowledge the fact that yes, there are some very rotten apples in the bag.
Shortly after Pelosi made her statement, a story was released that a Government census worker was found hanged in Kentucky with the word Fed scrawled across his chest.
We are right to fear an escalation in violence as long as the Republican leaders bury their heads in the sand.
