Continued from yesterday’s column ...
The cry for a homeland for the "Palestinian" people is entirely without basis. Basically, the Palestinian "national identity," was created by the Roman Empire and the name was chosen for its similarity to Philistine, as a means of dampening the resistance of the descendents of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the land which God Himself had promised to them was being taken away.
Early in the last century, this same "identity" began to be claimed by certain Arab outcasts. These individuasl had wound up living as refugees in the land which, by right, belongs to the sons of Jacob.
A perfect example of this is the world renown terrorist, Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini. If you do not recognize him by his given name, then you may know him by the one under which he met with US officials and United Nations dignitaries, Yasir Arafat.
Another name under which he spent many years reeking havoc as a terrorist, was Abu Ammar. Yes, the President of the Palestinian National Authority was an absolute phony when it came to his own identity.
He wound up in the land of Israel, after having been run out of every legitimate Arab nation for having masterminded various terrorist operations. Then, big surprise, he set his sights on becoming the President of the ragtag band of people who inhabit an imaginary country within the rightful borders of Israel.
Oh, and by the way, when al-Husseini, or Ammar, or Arafat, or whatever name he was using at that time, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994, I thought it was every bit as much of a sham as when his name sake, President Barack Hussein Obama won it this year. While many people scoffed at me for saying his "work for peace" was a complete ruse, history has since born out the fact that for every picture taken of him shaking hands with the leaders of other nations, there is a confirmation if his later involvement in terrorism against the people of that same county.
Islam has always been famous for the fact that every new convert takes an assumed name. Personally, I believe it is a case of the names being changed in order to protect the guilty.
The fact is that very little has changed in the "country" of Palestine since his death in 2004. The leadership today is every bit as anti-Israel, anti-God, anti-American and anti-Christian as it was under Arafat’s regime.
In fact, this week Israeli commandos boarded a ship carrying weapons with the potential to wipeout Israeli settlements in the contested region. The arms have been confirmed to have been on their way to the hands of Palestinian soldiers and to have been shipped from Iran.
Perhaps Mr. Obama has never heard the old saying, "My enemy’s enemy is my friend." In this case, we should take note of the fact that our enemy’s friend is our enemy.
The Iranian government has a long history of funding terrorism. Yes, the very terrorism with which we as a nation are at war.
Their "President," Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who remains in power through, fear and corruption, has repeatedly stated that his two main goals are to see Israel and the United States wiped from the face of the earth. This, when combined with his having recently bragged publicly of his possession of weapons grade uranium, would cause one to think the Obamamen would be intelligent enough to see that the Palestinians are not on our side, even if they cannot fathom that Almighty God is on Israel’s side.
However, they continue to shake the hands of the false brothers. They even continue to welcome them into our proverbial house and to turn away our longtime trusted friend, Israel.
I believe that there may still be some hope for this country. If we, the People, can convince the members of the Senate to vote down the upcoming Copenhagen Treaty, which would cede our national sovereignty to a global tribunal, then we have only to issue pink slips at each of the next three even year elections.
We need men and women in all branches of the Government who are not false brethren. We need men and women like Travis Hankins.

Hankins is, without a doubt, one of only a handful of truly God fearing men and women intending to run for Congress in 2010. As I have stated in previous articles, I am fully backing his campaign and only wish that he were running in my district.
To be continued, tomorrow ...
