Had a good showing last week.  Sure you were misled regarding the Broncos, but that was intentional, and they finally lost.  Be content that Denver is playing on Monday this week, so you can go to your favorite bar and watch all the Sunday games in blissful Bronco-fanless peace.

WASHINGTON v Atlanta (-9.5)
Atlanta returns home where they are solid, against a Washington team that is deplorable.  Ten points is too much to give, though, in a game not involving the Rams or Raiders.

Arizona v CHICAGO (-2.5)
Two teams with injury and personality concerns.  Take the home team, look for the Colts game.

Baltimore v CINCINNATI (+2.5)
Still don't know what to make of the Bengals this year, and we can't dismiss the fact that Baltimore lost to them at home earlier.

HOUSTON v Indianapolis (-8.5)
Apparently Indy has to use a rookie to cover the Texan's WR-super-specimen, Andre Johnson.  Rather than worry about the spread, find out what the over is in this game.

Kansas City v JACKSONVILLE (-6.5)
This weeks GET-TO-THE-BAR-EARLY game.  If you recall, this means, get there early and find a table where you aren't forced to watch or listen to this loser of a game.  Find the Chief's game next week and boo Larry Johnson.

Miami v NEW ENGLAND (-10.5)
Miami's fast start, poor finish routine is not going to work against the Patriots.

Green Bay v TAMPA BAY (+9.5)
This is a lot of points to give a home team; any home team.  Plus, Aaron Rodgers could be hurt.

Carolina v NEW ORLEANS (-13.5)
Saints' point spreads just keep climbing, and we can't see any reason they won't keep covering.

Detroit v SEATTLE (-9.5)
The Lions lost to the Rams, who previously only beat Red Skins.  While all of these teams could beat the Raiders, none of them will win in Seattle this year.

San Diego v NY GIANTS (-3.5)
In what will long be known as Kill-Eli week, this match up carries special meaning for Charger fans.  The Chargers have gotten healthy on really bad teams, and the Giants are reeling , which explains the odd point-spread.  It would be nice to predict a San Diego win involving three interceptions, and multiple Eli fumbles, but this is a tough road-test for the truly unproven Chargers.

Tennessee v SAN FRANCISCO (-3.5)
The Titans finally showed up for a game.  Congratulations.  Now enjoy your cross-country trip, and meeting with a healthy Frank Gore.  Oh, and a note to 49er opponents, cover Vernon Davis.

DALLAS v Philadelphia (-2.5)
Should be an amazing game, depending upon which Cowboy team shows up.  Dallas has started scoring in buckets, clouding memories of a team that was taken to overtime by the Chiefs earlier this season.

PITTSBURGH v Denver (+2.5)
What little respect the Broncos were getting during their unbeaten streak has gone out the window with last week's loss to the Ravens.  2.5-point dogs at home?...good.

Comments are always welcome, though will be taken more seriously if posted before the games are played.
