James Franco is joining the cast of General Hospital. Yes, this is factual reporting and not a soap fantasy. Franco will not be tormenting Spider Man in the coming months; instead he will be taunting and bothering Port Charles' own Superhero Mobster Jason Morgan.
With many blockbuster films and Gucci under his belt. he is a welcome breath of fresh air to the Daytime Drama. Producer of GH Jill Farren Phelps said it is an "honor" that someone with James' "caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles."
This may be what give ABC's long running Soap the edge to finally break the monotony of CBS claiming the number one and two spots in the Daytime Rating Game. The only question left is if he will be stealing Steve Burton's love interest Peepshow and DWTS winner Kelly Monaco?
