From the outside you would never guess the site you are approaching is one of a bar. The tiny area for parking at Cork-N-Bottle is echoed throughout the overall design. The long, skinny arrangement follows in suit to the actual bar set-up and also into the restrooms. The closing walls would make any person claustrophobic. While they were one of the cleanliest bar restrooms, it can only be concluded that the cleanliness is due to the lack of patronage.
On a Saturday night this bar was scattered with a dusting of patrons at best. The ITunes touch screen jukebox is a novel idea but produced some varied, and interesting selections. On this given Saturday night the songs ranged from 50’s Du-wop to the hard-hitting, thrashing sounds of heavy metal.
The randomness of the music selection was mirrored into the crowd. The varied personalities made this bar a nice locale for a small group heading out for a few drinks as oppose to the crowd looking for hot spot to really let loose.
