D.O.G Pet Boutique and VH1 diva doggie photo contest

Entering a contest is exciting because of the allure of prizes and notoriety, but the process of entering can be just as fulfilling and satisfying as winning, especially when it involves our dogs. D.O.G Pet Boutique and VH1, in honor of the upcoming broadcast of VH1’s Divas 2009, are searching for the best Diva Doggie.
How to enter: Take a picture of your Diva Doggie in her (or his) best Diva pose and upload it to the D.O.G website.
The public will be asked to rate your Diva Doggie on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being not so Diva and 10 being extremely Diva. The top five photos will win. The photo that has the highest voted ratings will win the grand prize of a fabulous Diva themed prize packaged valued at $1500. The four photos that follow the winner will also win fabulous Diva worthy prize package valued at $300.
This past Saturday night Rufus, my red smooth miniature dachshund, and I spent the evening taking about 100 digital pictures in varied poses with props to enter that special one in the photo contest. Win or lose, the fun and quality time we shared while taking the pictures and writing the profile was priceless.
The contest ends Sept. 18 so get your camera out, grab your dog, take your pictures, upload your best Diva photo and get your friends to vote! At the very least, the journey will make for a great story among friends and family.
Rufus’ contest profile: Rufus is a DOXIE DIVO because he is a discriminating dachshund that values quality goods, services & destinations. Rufus has a doxie entourage (LA DOXIES), is always well groomed, smells great via regular bubble baths & hikes 5 days to keep his long and lean shape. Rufus travels in one of 3 designer bags around town and enjoys doing charity work.
