Ever wonder what your dog was thinking? By making an appointment with Los Angeles based dog communicator Jackie Cronin one may just learn what is on his or her mind.
Cronin says she sees pictures or something like a little video or webisode when she is communicating with our animals. Cronin is a self proclaimed intuit of 10 years who comes from a long line intuits, both her mother and grandmother were intuitives. Cronin is an interpreter and is able bridge the communication gap between humans and animals.
As we began the session she immediately comments that Rufus, my red smooth m
iniature dachshund, has no real issues. Rufus is a very well socialized and balanced dog that lives a charmed life so it was no surprise to me.
Nevertheless Cronin was able to surprise me by all the things Rufus told her. I went into the situation with a clear mind not waiting to help her in the slightest, yet via her communications with Rufus she saw that we lived a house with a lot of natural light; she knew my other half was a great cook who barbequed outside a lot with Rufus by his side. She said Rufus, “would like some extra scraps when he’s cooking.”
Cronin also said Rufus felt like he was my little helper. As a writer, when I’m at my desk, Rufus commonly sits in my lap or my desk and provides me inspiration for many of my articles. I’m constantly talking to Rufus and Cronin said she could see that we have a very communicative relationship.
Some other fun facts that she offered was that Rufus really liked his kibble, more so than other dogs in her experience. I later explained I put a dollop of salmon oil in with his kibble and she said that probably explains why is loves it so much.
Cronin went on and on about things I already knew to be true about Rufus, and it was amazing that she was able to pick up on these things from Rufus with no help for me. I offered her no background on Rufus when we first met and she asked me no preliminary questions. When she made statements, they were bold and matter of fact, and there was no fishing or guessing. She is real deal based on my experience.
Cronin always knew she was intuitive but it was when she got Henri her cocker spaniel beagle rescue when her connection with dogs and animals was fortified. As Cronin explains it, she is not a behaviorist or vet. She is there to help owners deepen their connection with their pets and is often called upon to help with animals that have become terminally ill and the owners need help navigating through the final stages.
Cronin is there to offer support, and she tells the truth as seen and felt by the animal. Her primary clients are dogs and cats, but she has worked with horses, rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs and birds. She says birds are very deep and intellectual.
Cronin’s rate range from $190 for an in person 55 
minute session which includes two 15 minute followup calls and one week of unlimited email support to $95 for 30 minutes and $45 for 20 minutes.
