If you're looking for the perfect customizable collar for your dog, then I recommend My Charmed Pet. Each collar is handmade and hand dyed using all natural and organic materials by the Los Angeles based Stephanie Fuchs.
I’m a fan of Fuchs’ leather collars, because I feel like they’re a throwback to the old leather belts my father, mother and many other Texans wore when I was younger. In Texas, back in the day especially, it was common practice to have a leather belt or wallet customized with your name on it.
Honoring my Texas roots, I thought it was high time to get Rufus his own belt, or the next best thing: a customized collar with his name and dachshund stamp on it.
Fuchs can create collars in a variety of colors: black, purple, brown, red, green, blue, orange, yellow and teal. She can embellish the collars with color stones, studs or a combination of both. Her products are eco-friendly and made in the USA!
The leather collars range in price depending on length of characters in your dog’s name and your choice to use stones, studs or keep it plain. They all start at about $40 which is competitive in today’s marketplace. Since the collars are made from genuine leather, as they age and distress it only adds to the character and charm of it.
For me personally, I was most excited about the dachshund stamp she created. I think Rufus looks great in it.
