October Fest in Willow Springs Shopping Center
Willow Springs Shopping Center located on NW corner of Iris and 28th

Friday and Saturday October 9th & 10th.

 

What: OKTOBERFEST!!!!

Where: The Willow Springs Shopping Center at 28th and Iris (not the Safeway center, the one with Buddha Café and Arugula!) are joining together to host one HUGE Beer Garden/ music fest/ Polka swinging / "street" food extravaganza!! 

When: The hours are Friday, noon-9pm and Saturday from 10am – 9pm.  

Entertainment: The Average German Band will perform from 6-9 on Friday evening. More bands are scheduled throughout the festival along with arts and crafts, food and, as the sign says, BEER!!!

 

Saturday and Sunday, October 10th & 11th

What: The last weekend for Open Studios 2009.  This is your last chance to participate in The 15th annual Open Studios, Boulder. The tour invites the public into the private studios of over 125 local artists to see their wares, discuss the inspiration behind the art and to continue the support of one of Boulder’s most prized possessions, it’s art community.

How: To participate click on the Open Studios link or stop by the Boulder Public Library to pick up a guidebook, preview the exhibits and plan your route. No appointments necessary, the set time for visitors is from noon-6pm both Saturday and Sunday.

Weekend Bites when the temps start to drop
 

Where: Dish Gourmet located at 1918 Pearl St. Boulder, Co.

 

What: A fantastic deli style restaurant owned by Chef Brian and Stacey Benham that offers incredible sandwiches, salads, soups and sweets all using the finest local ingredients. Dish also offers full catering menus for almost any occasions.

 

Entertainment: A huge window to people watch while you enjoy down a hot bowl of soup and fresh bread on a chilly afternoon.
