Prince George's County police arrested a 19-year-old man early Friday after he stabbed another man twice in the area of Hartwick Towers in the 4300 block of Hartwick Rd.  That is only a couple blocks from the University of Maryland campus.

Police say the men were in a larger group which became involved in an argument.  One of the men stabbed the other at least twice around 2 a.m.  The victim was taken to a trauma center suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The fight happened outside near the CVS.  Officers later discovered the suspect on the 6th floor of the Hartwick Towers.  Officers also located a knife.  The suspect was placed under arrest.

Police have not released the names of those involved nor have they said if these were University of Maryland students.
