Prince George's County police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Upper Marlboro on Oct. 31.  Investigators have released these two surveillance photos of the suspect.

Police say the gunman entered the Marlton Exxon gas station at 7625 Crain Highway around 8:50 p.m.  Once inside, he asked for a cigar.  When the victim retrieved the cigars, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.   The victim was not injured in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, medium complexion, approximately 25-27 years old, 5' 8" in height and 180-190 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a black hooded coat, black gloves and was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-772-4905.  Callers may remain anonymous.
