Welcome to the Scottsdale Dog House... we've got the scoop on K9s

The Arizona Animal Welfare League/SPCA is presenting a fun and educational event for adults, kids and pets

What a fun event! With lots for kids and adults to do... not to mention their four-legged family pals.

The Arizona Animal Welfare League wants people to know what a great family-friendly environment they offer. Dogs get to run and play in yards, and volunteers take them for walks in the morning. AAWL has a room that is outfitted like a family living room, where you can hang out with a potential adoptee and get to know him or her better. Adult cats have a large room -- not cages -- to roam and lounge around, while listening to classical music, and can even go outside in their own space.

This really is a happy place, and we want to share that with folks. Not to mention... the event is FREE and people can also bring their dogs for low-cost vaccinations and microchipping (saving even more money).
