April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month, and the Arizona Animal Welfare League/Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (AAWL/SPCA) has a fun and educational event for you, your kids and your pets.
Activities include: A scavenger hunt, exotic animal encounters, fun photos, canine contests and fashion parade (bring your dogs), agility demonstrations (try out the agility equipment), shelter tours, cat and dog adoption specials, low-cost vaccinations and microchipping with free microchip registration, pet-friendly vendors, a raffle, snacks and animal cruelty prevention tips.
