After his bizarre behavior had him checking into a psych ward last year, comedian Katt Williams has now checked into the Coweta County jail after being arrested on burglary and criminal trespass charges.
CNN and the Associated Press are reporting that Williams was arrested in a west Georgia neighborhood Sunday night.
According to The Smoking Gun website, the comedian entered a Coweta homeowner’s residence and stole jewelry and other items.
Williams will be held until a magistrate decides if he is eligible for bail. An arraignment is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
This latest incident is just one in a string of bizarre behavioral episodes displayed by Williams.
Williams is famous for his HBO special, Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1, and starring in the comedy First Sunday and the film Norbit.
