'American Idol': Jordin Sparks recovering from appendectomy

Former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks is recovering from an appendectomy, after having an attack of acute appendicitis this past week.
She told Twiiter fans that she is "feeling better but very sore." She had her appendix removed on Wednesday.
Mostly in good spirits, she says pain relief was coming to her in the form of "real food" from her mom and a full day of watching 'Law & Order' on the hospital TV.
She is upset about one thing though: missing out on the New Moon release. "I think I'm the only one not seeing New Moon right now," she wrote, "Tell me how the movie is!"
