Melissa Joan Hart and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas were eliminated from Dancing With The Stars last night based on a combination of judge's scores and viewers votes.
"That's the game...it's tough. I was hoping to make it one more week. My husband was coming next week with my kids. But that's alright, I'll go home to them now. It's okay." said hart following her elimination.
Ballas said he was really proud of her, "She's never done a step of dance in her life...we'll always have that moment - The Charleston - when you were just amazing. I'm really proud of you."
Louie Vito and his professional dance partner Chelsie Hightower then had to compete in a dance off against Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova. These duos had to do the dane off because they received the next two lowest combined scores based on the previous nights performance. Michael and Anna performed first, doing a samba. Louie and Chelsie did a jive, which left viewers feeling like Louie had been saved.
"What impressed me was the amount of content you managed to put in in such a short time," said Bruno. "A lot of hard work." Carrie Ann Inaba described it as a "good jive," and Len Goodman agreed.
In the end though, the judges decided to keep Michael and Anna, sending the professional snowboarder home.
"This is a lot harder than it looks," said Vito. "Dealing with frustration, nerves because it's something you're not comfortable with in front of millions and millions of people. Everyday I got out there and danced. I was proud of myself for just getting out there."
