The Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center
Another sign that the Fall is upon us is the 2009 opening of the Rockefeller Center ice rink. The famous Rockefeller Ice Rink opens on October 9, 2009 and public staking begins on October 10, 2009. The rink is limited to just 150 skaters at a time and reservations are highly suggested since this is a very popular venue for locals and visitors alike.
Of course, one of the most anticipated celebrations at the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink is the kick-off to the holiday season with the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree which highlights celebrities, skaters and the world famous Radio City Rockettes.
