
Yankees win 7 to 3 over Philadelphia
In case you have been living under a rock the past several hours, the Yankees won game 6 of the 2009 World Series against the Phils and thus clinched their 27th World Series. How is this related to travel you ask? The answer is two fold. If you plan on attending the Yankee's Parade on Friday or would like to visit Yankee Stadium in the future, here is what you need to know:

Where: Beginning in Battery Park and heads up "Canyon of Heroes" to Chambers Street and finishes with a rally at City Hall

Yankee Stadium
Tours of the new Yankee stadium are available with the tour lasting between 45 minutes to an hour and the cost is $20 per person. Classic Tours commence every 20 minutes from 12:00 pm - 1:40 pm and run daily except when the Yankees play at home on weekends or are scheduled to play a weekday day game.
