There exists a very simple, and natural, way of killing rats & mice that will not harm your dog or other pets.  With just one secret ingredient, you can finally be rid of disease carrying rodents.

That ingredient? Cola. Yes, soda pop.

Mice and rats lack the ability to burp. Odd scientific fact. They also adore sweet things. This combined knowledge has led to one of the safest ways to exterminate mice and rats there is. Let them drink soda pop!

In the evening hours, set out a small shallow dish of cola. Pepsi or Coca-Cola are preferred. Set this dish out where you suspect as high traffic areas for the rodents. Near walls or under things rodents like to use as hiding places are best.  The rats and mice drink the sugary cola to their hearts content. Trouble is, they can't burp. When they are unable to burp to release the newly formed buildup of gas in their system, they perish.

It may seem heartless but when you need to be more protective of your children and pets than disease carrying rodents, it is a very viable solution.
