Fells Point Fun Festival

Quick reminder for you folks looking for something to do this weekend. Yes, I know there's football... epic college games like LSU at Georgia, USC at Cal, Oklahoma at Miami... along with some big NFL games this Sunday, Jets at Saints, Ravens at Patriots, Packers at Vikings (a.k.a., the Favre Follies). But at some point, you might just want to get outside and experience the brief, weatherly awesomeness this weekend holds in store for we happy Baltimorons. If so, we have just the trick...

Fells Point Fun Festival

All weekend long, those quaint (but occasionally annoying) cobblestone streets along the waterfront of Thames Street will be humming with the sights and sounds of festivity. From 11am to 7pm both Saturday and Sunday, Fells Point will be awash with good music, great food, and of course, multiple beer gardens. So get off the couch, step away from the TV, and get out into the world for a little extra-interior entertainment. I plan to waltz my way there at some point... if only for the crab cakes.

And what could be more Baltimore than that?
