Workout at work? Yes, it's possible.

Do you not want to skimp on sleep just to fit in a workout? Is the gym too crowded when you get off from work? Don't fret. There is still another part of the day when you can squeeze in some activity. It's called the Lunch Break.

Yes, the lunch break. The hour long part of the day when you get to relax and take your mind off of work. The part of your workday when you can refuel your mind and body. This mid-day break is a perfect opportunity to get in your daily workout session.

Here are a few things you do in the hour:

Go to the Gym - Find a gym that is closest to your office. If it's a 5-10 minute drive, you will still have enough time to fit in a workout. If the gym is even closer, say a 5 minute walk, go there on foot. This is the perfect opportunity to warm-up. If you've been looking to join a gym, try locating one near your office and explore their membership rates. Since you spend most of your days at work, you'll be less likely to make up excuses as to why you can't workout, since the gym will be right around the corner.

Go Outdoors - If you don't have a gym membership or your work is not close enough to one, bring your workout clothes to work and on your lunch break, head outside. Who says you need cardio machines and weights to get a good workout? Walk, jog, run, or sprint on the streets. Find a nearby park or path that is accessible and do your workouts there. Stairs are another good way to get in some cardio and toning. Find a flight or more of stairs and run up and down those stairs for 20 minutes, alternating with running or 2-3 stairs at a time. Chairs, stairs, curbs, and benches can all be used to perform some toning moves such as puch-ups, lunges, and tricep dips.

The next time you find yourself hitting the snooze button or driving home after work instead of the gym, just remind yourself that you can still get your daily workout on your lunch break.
