Britney Spears "upset" over lip syncing drama.
Britney Spears is "extremely upset" according to her Australian promoter. The pop star is now the center of a lip syncing scandal that left some Australian fans angry with her performance.
According to Radar Online about 100 fans walked out Friday during Britney's show at Perth's Burswood Dome, angry at what they considered overpriced tickets and a performance that didn't deliver.
Officials from three Australian states; Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales met to discuss legislation that would force promoters to tell audiences when their concerts involve lip-syncing. Such as a disclaimer on the ticket.
Britney Spears' Australian promoter, Paul Dainty told newspaper 'The Australian:' "Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it. She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media, when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."
Some fans were so angry that they demanded their money back. Saying that they paid to see a live show. Not Britney dancing around mouthing the words to her songs. Others don't seem to mind as much, telling press that when you go to a Britney Spears show, that's just what it is, a show. There are lights, smoke, dancers. It would be impossible to have enough breathe to sing and dance for a two hour show.
Singer John Mayer shared his thoughts on this via his Twitter account. Tweeting: "If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back life may continue to be hard for you."
What's your opinion of Britney Spears lip syncing? Should the angry fans get their money back? (profane or disrespectful comments will be removed)
