The Lohan Family saga continues...

Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan has been publicly campaigning for Lindsay to get herself in to rehab. Lohan says his daughter is dangerously addicted to prescription medication and he fears for her life. Michael has spoken out publicly after he says his attempts to help his daughter in private were denied.

Michael Lohan has been making his way through the media telling anyone who will listen about Lindsay's problems. Saying that if going public with her addictions is what it takes to get her help then that's what he'll do.

Lindsay has been tweeting her side of the story.

This past week Lohan has released recorded telephone conversations he had with Lindsay and her mother Dina Lohan that show case how bad her problems are. The first conversation was a emotionally distraught Lindsay sobbing as she tells her father no one cares about her.

The second was Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan speaking to her ex husband about how difficult it has been to try to get Lindsay help. Dina spoke of Lindsay punching her and throwing her from a car when Dina tried to force her to get help for her addictions.

Now Lindsay Lohan is speaking out. The actress took to her Twitter account to bash her dad. Tweeting; "He's a deadbeat dad. He's disgusting to do this," she wrote on Thursday . "He needs help."
Lohan says the leaked phone conversations, "really hurts my mom for me and my siblings."

"She blames herself for staying w/him for so long," Lindsay tweeted about her mother. But Lindsay begged Dina not to leave, she says, because "he always threatened to kill her if she did."

Lindsay also adds that her father would often disappear for several days - "cheating on my mother" and "abusing substances."

"I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven't had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years . . . I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!"

In an exclusive interview with Radar Online, Michael Lohan says that he wasn't the best father but he certainly never threatened to kill Dina. Also saying that he did experiment with drugs, but that the only relationship he had while still married came after he and Dina were separated for 8 months.
