Oprah to end her television show.

Truly one of the greatest and most influential talk show hosts of all time, Oprah Winfrey will announce that she will be ending her show on Friday.

Oprah will work through the end of her current contract and will put the 'Oprah' show to rest in September of 2011 at the end of it's 25th season.

The announcement comes during speculation about Oprah not renewing her contract when it ends in 2011. Don't expect Oprah to disappear though. Winfrey is sure to be around for a long time to come. Her magazine "O" is one of the highest selling magazines, and she has recently launched her own television network titled the Oprah Winfrey Network or OWN, which is in conjunction with Discovery Communications. OWN was created for women, men, and families. To inspire, enlighten, and entertain. The Oprah Winfrey Network has yet to launch.

Fans are already heartbroken by the sad news of Oprah's 2011 departure from the small screen, but are also wondering, who will take her place?
