
Michael Jackson's "This Is It" premiered in Hollywood last night bringing out some of Tinsel Town's finest. Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Paula Abdul, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ashley Tisdale were just a few of the stars there to support and honor the memory of the late king of pop, Michael Jackson.
Access Hollywood reports, 'American Idol' alums David Cook and Adam Lambert along with Katy Perry were all there despite the roaring winds that began earlier in the day. Many stars showed support for Jackson in their wardrobe choices. Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy show up in MJ tee shirts along with Ashley Tisdale. Transformers star Tyrese showed up with his son who sported sparkly pants.
"At the premiere for ‘This is it' I brought my 2 year old daughter.." Tyrese wrote on his Twitter page. "She's dancing in my lap.. I just teared up.. MJ still brings joy."
The pop stars family was also in attendance. Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson who has served as a spokesperson for the family since Michael's tragic death in June says his brother would be proud.
"He would be most proud because this is the world and he made music for the world. The message was for the world so this is the world showing their appreciation toward his music and his message."
"He is and will always be in all of our hearts and others [hearts]… around the world and that's because [he was] not just a great entertainer, but the message and the music," Jermaine told Tony. "God blessed him with tremendous success and he used it in a way help others - to inspire others and that's the Michael Jackson that I want everybody to remember."
