UGA Track & Field Dog Chris Hill broke his own javelin record on Thursday to win the event at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, OR.

Hill’s throw—275’ 2”—shattered his previous UGA record of 268’ 4”. The throw is the longest by an American in 2009 and seventh in world competition.

With his win, Hill clinches a spot at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, on Aug. 15-23.
