UGA Gym Dog Courtney Kupets has been named the 2008-2009 Roy F. Kramer Southeastern Conference Female Athlete of the Year.

Kupets has been highly awarded throughout her career at UGA. She is the only collegiate gymnast with national titles in every event, having won a NCAA record nine individual titles in three years and claiming three NCAA all-around championships. The 15-time All-American received the Honda-Broderick Cup earlier this week, honoring her as the top U.S. collegiate female athlete; she also received the Honda Award for gymnastics in 2007.

Scholastically, Kupets is also a high achiever, and has received NCAA and SEC postgraduate scholarships.
