William Walls III is the current director of the Committee for a Better Chicago. Walls is an outspoken community activist, politician and former aide to former Chicago mayor Harold Washington. As a Chicago activist, Walls has never held an elected office at a city-wide, nor state-wide level, yet has experience with the political nuances of Chicago-based politics. Wall's campaign focus has been built upon a laundry-list platform addressing a broad range of issues.
