Sometimes a break from fine dining is well spent by fun dining. Those seeking an inexpensive way to dine and enjoy a first rate show might consider B.B. King Blues Club’s Strawberry Fields Saturday morning brunch.
The $40 + admission price includes hearty breakfast selections of mini bagels and cream cheese, crisp bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cinnamon brown sugar French toast, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and orange juice. Lunch items included recommended Caesar salad, moist maple sugar flavored BBQ chicken, and peach or other fruit cobbler, as well as Buffalo wings, Spanish rice, cornmeal crusted Catfish, aged Cheddar macaroni & cheese, baked yams, South Carolina Grits, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. Dishes can vary.
The former Beatlemania cast goes all out delivering a start to finish Beatles retrospective, complete with costume changes and songs. The show has run more than eight years, and when you see the show, you can see why. Tourists make up a large percentage of diners, but this venue has much to offer for locals as well. If you consider the admission ticket includes a meal plus a full length professional production, Strawberry Fields Brunch is a true bang for your buck experience.
