When the Yankees win, cheese steaks from Wogie's all around.

Fine dining is awesome, but sometimes you just have to get down and dirty. Such is the case as the World Series games ratchet up to a close (game 6 is 7:57 p.m. tonight).

And Jimmy’s BBQ goes the distance in satisfying a baseball craving with great southern barbecue. The official barbecue sponsor of our beloved team (a natural Yankees bar, too) is putting its money where everyone’s mouth is—literally. Going head to head with Philly-based Wogie’s Bar & Grill, Jimmy’s BBQ is so convinced the Yankees will win the series (the Bronx Bombers are up three games to two) that it bet Wogie's a staff and VIP costumer party that New York would take the Series. If the Yankees win tonight or in Game 7, Wogie's, a big Phillies hangout, will have to throw a celebration party for Jimmy's staffers and loyalists. In the unlikely event that the Phillies come from behind to win the Fall Classic, Jimmy's will pick up the tab for Wogie's staffers and select customers to celebrate.

So, Yankee and barbecue fans, start rooting for your team. And, if the Yankees don't win, take solace in knowing we have the best Carolina BBQ in our own backyard.

Remember; you either like the the Yankees or Phillies, but you can certainly enjoy great sourthern barbecue and cheesesteaks.

Keep checking for updates. The VIP party could be tonight!
