The Women of Baltimore Traffic - Sarah Caldwell—Baltimore’s Jewel of Morning Traffic.

July 3, 2:22 AM

Sarah Caldwell—WBAL Traffic Reporter.

I start my day at 4 a.m. for my paying job, and scan the channels for the news and weather while checking my email. But when 5 o’clock rolls around, I tune in WBAL-TV 11 for the traffic, and my favorite traffic person, Sarah Caldwell. Besides delivering accurate, up-to-the-minute traffic reports, she’s charming, she’s cheerful, and she’s cute!

Sarah came to us from Philadelphia in 2002 and, in my opinion, we got the better part of that deal. With her bright blue eyes and mischievous smile, she’s a pleasant beginning to any day—even the hated Monday mornings.

After graduating from Temple, Sarah got her start on WTXF doing traffic, and had her hand in sports and even the weather. When she’s not making the calls for Maryland roads, she spends her time enjoying her family, her two boys and her husband.

I’m tellin’ ya ... some guys just have all the luck.

Do yourself a favor and catch Sarah on weekday mornings from 5 to 8:30, and on weekends when she sits in for the news and special features. Read more about Sarah at WBAL NewsTeam.
