The Women of Baltimore Traffic - Angela Foster—ABC2’s Ray of Morning Sunshine

July 2, 2:48 AM

The always lovely, always personable Angela Foster completes WMAR-TV’s Good Morning Maryland news team by providing Traffic Tracker 2 information to viewers each morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Angela is from Henderson N.C. and got her start as a sports intern while attending college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After college, she became a radio traffic reporter in Raleigh-Durham before relocating to Maryland. She began her Baltimore traffic career in 2003, working as an aerial and road reporter before becoming atTraffic producer. In 2005, she became a freelance traffic reporter, filling in for radio and TV reporters in Baltimore. While pursuing her traffic career, Angela hosted a daily, cable talk-show at Oak Crest Village for four years prior to coming to ABC2 in 2007. There she covered politics, sports and "everything Baltimore" including local celebrity features.

Angela loves attending all the diverse Baltimore festivals, so you’re apt to see her there, as well as the Huber Memorial Church in Baltimore. She and her husband David enjoy traveling, church activities, bowling and outside events with their dog, Coley.

At this point, I would normally provide a link to Angela’s station bio, but it seems they haven’t added one yet. When they do, I’ll be sure to let you know.
