McNair, Kazemi test results indicate a murder-suicide

Sahel Kazemi
Authorities are now stating that preliminary test results indicate that the deaths of Steve McNair and his mistress Sahel Kazemi were indeed the result of a murder-suicide.
Assistant medical examiner Feng Li is waiting for police to officially close the case before he writes suicide on her death certificate.
The couple was found dead on Saturday. McNair, a former NFL player for the Tennessee Titans, suffered four gunshots, while Kazemi died from a single gun shot to the head. Her body was found laying on the murder weapon.
She had secretly purchased the gun two days before the killings, the same day she'd been charged with a DUI.
Original reports from family indicated that Kazemi did not show any suicidal tendencies before her death. However new reports are surfacing that suggest things weren't going well for the 20-year-old.
An associate of Kazemi's reported that she had mentioned that her “personal life was all screwed up,” Police Chief Ronal Serpas said. She had mounting debts was unable to sell her car, and her roommate was moving out. Police also said she may have suspected that he was seeing yet another woman.
Kazemi’s family told reporters that the she was confident that McNair planned to divorce his wife of 12 years. She was making preparations to move in with him.
However there are no records of divorce proceedings. Mechelle McNair says she first learned of her husband's affair with Kazemi after the slaying.
