The only time we get to see any footage at length about what is going on in Pakistan is if we turn to Al Jazeera TV. Through our own media, we will get reports of a suicide bombing with the casualty figure and the location. We don't see the people getting killed, the blood being spilled, and perhaps we have grown accustomed or immune to such reports. The absence of such visuals makes the war less tangible and less concrete to the people of America, no matter how much their leaders tell them about a dangerous situation.
Believing that a single picture can demolish all the rhetoric and media spin in the world, I wanted to show you the human beings of Pakistan, some who are caught in the quagmire, and helpless. There are those who are hell bent on destruction, and those who oppose current Pakistani President Zardari who has had to capitulate and relinquish control of the Punjab Province to the country's main opposition party. Then there are those Pakistanis who will enjoy traditional donkey races, and folk dancing ,- all without guns.
