The Santa Clara County Public Health Department (SCCPHD) has scheduled another H1N1 vaccination clinic this Sunday, November 15, 2009.
Nearly 9,000 high risk individuals attended the vaccination clinics held throughout Santa Clara County last weekend.
The largest H1N1 vaccination clinic was held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, and three additional clinics were held at Valley Health Center and Gardner Family Health.
SCCPHD is expecting another large turnout this Sunday and is advising the public to be prepared to wait. Early arrivals at last weekend's vaccination clinic waited an average of five hours in line.
Parents kept children busy at last weekend's vaccination clinic by bringing books, toys and sidewalk chalk. It is advised to bring plenty of food and water especially for pregnant women, children and diabetics.
Arrivals for the H1N1 vaccination may want to bring chairs and layer clothing to accommodate early morning temperatures.
Additional vaccination dates and times will be posted on the Santa Clara County Public Health Department's website as they become available.
