Yeow.

What are you looking for in a man? Who cares? Just go to the Huffington Post and check out all of the hot farmers.  Huffington thinks "[t]here's nothing more attractive than someone who likes to get their hands dirty, supports green eating and looks great doing it." What they're doing is tying together a Michael-Pollan-inspire- impetus with sexy dudes. There are sparse ladies, but most of the hot farmers are men. The winner should be David. There's David, right there. With the big box of tomatoes. Hi, David.

There he is again. David Stockhausen. He began the Amyitis Garden project in the Mission in order to empower and educate via sustainable farming. He also supplies produce to local restaurants, such as Boogaloo. If you'd like to be involved, click on the link above to navigate to the blog. Amyitis can dig up your yard. Make it edible. Make it green.

We spent this afternoon drinking Philz, eating permission (persimmon) ice cream and trying to get some dirty dirt on David. This is what we came up with: he grows delicious arugula. He farmed in Vermont before comig to the Bay Area. That's all we know. We want him to stay forever.
