New Moon's Robert Pattinson is less than a month away from his big movie's debut but he isn't sitting on top of the world.
Instead, he's confessing he's manic depressive, telling UK's New! Magazine that acting has made him feel as if everything is just a "method".
"I used to be very romantic," he told the mag. "But acting ruined my seduction techniques."
Adding, "You over-analyze everything - you analyze how if you say one thing, someone likes you and if you say another, they don't. You just start to experiment on people," he said.
"I'm just a bit manic depressive," said the 23-year-old actor who's been in the media as much for his mental health as he has for his fame.
Most recently, Rob told Vanity Fair he's "trying not to drown" amid the media and fans' excruciating attention. Earlier this summer, reports ran rapid that R.Patz was shooting darts at himself mocking the media's speculation over his alleged romantic relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart.
For Robert, who's expressed a desire to step out of the Twilight lime light, it might be a begging to fans to let him escape. In his interview with Australia's GQ Magazine, Pattinson told the mag, ""I haven't found a place in the world where I can just sort of disappear."
Manic depression, also known as Bipolar disorder, is considered the most "common" mental illness according to Royal College of Psychiatrists and 5 percent of people in the world may suffer from what's also called the "common cold of psychiatry" at any given point in time.
