Does Kevin Costner have swine flu?
Nope. Unlike a handful of other celebrities, Kevin Costner and his family are not H1N1 fans and they plan to keep healthy by not traveling for fear of contracting the swine.
The award-winning actor and singer is heading across the pond to go on tour with his country music band "Modern West" and says his wife and German model, Christine Baumgartner, and his two sons will be staying at home.
Already a father to 2-year-old toddler Cayden Wyatt Costner, Kevin and Christine recently gave birth to their second son, Hayes Logan this past February. With young ones more likely to fall prey to the swine flu, Costner is ordering his family not to visit him while he is away, reports the Daily Express.
“It is unusual that my family is not here because they usually are always with me,” Costner told the Express.
“But I have been worried about swine flu and didn’t want my small children with me on this trip."
The 54-year-old actor is a regular swinger on the green and has been known to keep in shape with golf, regularly schedueld in celebrity golf tournaments and other competitions including the PGA Tour's annual pro-am at Pebble Beach and the BMX pro-am.
Costner also keeps his diet "pumped" with energy food and healthy choices. Along with other celebrity faces like Brook Shields, Tyra Banks, John Stamos and Carole King frequent New York's Pump Energy Food and Physical Fitness Restaurant where stars can go to "eat with no worries".
