Jessica Simpson searches for mind-body health therapies in swine flu stricken India

The same day singer Jessica Simpson landed in Bollywood was the same day reports were released indicating 13 new swine flu deaths in the country due to H1N1.

The reports indicated the swine flue deaths bring the total country's death toll to 444 with 90 new cases recorded Sunday. The country's grand total of cases with the contagious virus? Health officials say it's over 13,000.

Celebrity pop singer Jessica Simpson and BFF Ken Paves took flight last week to film for a segment of Simpson's upcoming VH1 TV show, "The Price of Beauty".

The star tweeted her and hairstylist Paves were off to India and posted a picture of the two before take-off.

Accompanying Simpson during her stay in Mumbai , India is Bollywood superstar Neha Dhupia. Jessica handpicked Dhupia after spotting her on the mini-series "Bollywood Hero".

The Hindustan Times confirmed reports with Dhupia's publicist saying, "Yes, Jessica will join us here soon. She plans to shoot a part of her reality show here itself."

The Hindustan Times says Jessica will be engaging in alternative health therapies that help her "regain peace of mind" and will meet Bollywood musicians during her stay.
