The Fab Faux perfomed "Revolver" live over the weekend.

Don't miss the wonderful video of the T-Mobile commercial shoot we posted Sunday night. Not gonna say more. This one's a treasure.

A note from Frank C. Branchini: "We saw The Fab Faux perform 'Revolver' last (Saturday) night at the Warner Theater in Washington.  The 'Revolver' section of the show was absolutely brilliant.  The best tribute band doing the best Beatles album.  And they followed that with 'Penny Lane' and 'All You Need is Love,' both of which are truly magnificent with live strings an horns.  The guy that did the piccolo trumpet section on 'Penny Lane' received a very well deserved enthusiastic ovation from the audience."

It's Toni Diffley's dream to have New York's W. 72nd Street, where the Dakota is located, renamed John Lennon Blvd. She's set up an online petition that has over 300 signatures. Diffley told us she's written to Yoko about this, but hasn't yet heard back from her. She also says she has a meeting in New York tentatively scheduled for May 12 about it. Good luck, Toni.

Beatles wax figures from the Hollywood Wax Museum sold for close to $13,000, reported the Associated Press. To the seller: Keep 'em in a cool place!

Our petition to get Ringo Starr his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has almost 300 signatures. The story and petition link are here.

"Let It Be" was released 39 years ago on May 8, 1970, and the album will be featured this week on "Hidden Treasures" show. The show is broadcast Mondays  from 12-4 PM CDT at http://uicradio.org/ . You can request your favorite songs by emailing rose60612@yahoo.com.

The latest edition of “Dennis Mitchell’s Breakfast With The Beatles” is now available by going to www.beatlesradioshow.com. This week's show, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, features a collection of Beatles tunes with a Latin flair, including the Decca audition version of “Besame Mucho” and “Sun King.”  The show will also debut the “Twist and Shout” Ultimix.

The playlist for Andre Gardner's "Breakfast With the Beatles" Sunday included "Her Majesty," the demo for "One and One Is Two", the 1960 recording of "Wildcat" with John, Paul, George and Stu Sutcliffe and a cover of "And Your Bird Can Sing" by Spanky And Our Gang. The show can be heard online at WMGK/Philadelphia (7-9am ET)  wmgk.com, KSLX/Phoenix (7-9am PT)  kslx.com and 100.7 THE BAY/Baltimore (6-8am ET) thebayonline.com.

Beatles fans are saving up their money for Sept. 9 when The Beatles remastered CDs and  "The Beatles: Rock Band" video game hit the streets, but Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young fans are looking at June 2. On that date, Rhino Records will release the single CD "Demos" by Crosby, Stills and Nash. It will feature previously unreleased songs from 1968-71 by the group and individual members of "Marrakesh Express" (CSN), "Almost Cut My Hair" (Crosby), "You Don't Have To Cry" (Stills), "Deja Vu" (Crosby), "Sleep Song"  (Nash), "My Love Is A Gentle Thing" (Stills), "Be Yourself" (Nash), "Music Is Love" (CSN), "Singing Call" (Stills), "Long Time Gone" (Crosby, Stills), "Chicago" (Nash) and "Love The One You're With" (Stills).  "Neil Young Archives Volume I (1963 - 1972)",   an 8 CD set with a 160-page book comes out the same day. And the following week, on June 9, available on Amazon.com will be "Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace & Music Director's Cut (40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition with Amazon Exclusive Bonus Disc)" with a fourth disc not available elsewhere. (Also available in Blu-ray.)
